The 2018 CIOC Festival starts on September 30th and will highlight great organists of North-America, and Europe in the most beautiful churches and concert halls of Montreal.
Notre-Dame Basilica will come to life during the Gala Concert with three stars, all international competition winners! This concert is also broadcast on a giant screen at the front of the basilica. It is *the* event of the Festival, so don't miss it!

The Gala Stars
Alcée Chriss III
Originally from Texas, Alcée won the Canadian International Organ Competition in October 2017 and is now preparing his own solo CD with ATMA Classique. In case you missed it, here is a video of the CIOC final!
Thomas Gaynor
Born in New-Zealand in 1991, Thomas is a laureate of many international competitions: he won most recently the 2017 St. Albans Competitions and the Bach-Liszt Competition in Germany.
"In his sort of quiet understated way, he becomes a monster at the keyboard" - famed organist David Higgs.
Joshua Stafford
This organ star under the age of 30 is a Longwood Gardens (USA) laureate. "The most magical moments for me occur when you let go of the last chord of a piece and have those few seconds of absolute stillness before you feel the whole room exhale. There's nothing like it."
From September 30th to November 16th, the organ takes front stage! Participate in over 20 events: concerts, organ crawl, and even a children's workshop... We can't stop smiling!
