Yves-G. Préfontaine presents a programme of excerpts from the Livre d’orgue de Montréal, the largest collection of French organ music from the reign of Louis XIV and the oldest surviving printed collection of organ music brought to New France. This concert celebrates the 300th anniversary of this manuscript’s arrival in Montréal with Jean Girard.
